SUAVE GODDI of GMS HOOD FAMOUS TV CLEVELAND" Suave has become a pioneer in the hip hop community, especially the one in Cleveland. Suave started to make his impact on the Cleveland music scene back in November of 1987 while attending John Marshall High School. He received high praise for his song called "The Pink Gangster", grabbing the attention of 93.1 FMs Lynn Tolliver. He continued in 1995, coining the term "DNA-level-C ", dropping a single with the same title. In 1998, Suave dropped a diss track directed at Canibus that received great reviews as well. However, Suave stumbled across something that would do more for the Cleveland hip hop scene than any song could do. He started hosting "The Spitboxers Freestyle Exam." Keeping the element of hip hop prevalent, Suave has ensured that there is no "weak sh*t"in his battles. He has also kept GMS Hood Famous TV DVD series that evolved from his underground magazine entitled GMS or Ghetto Mind State. His DVD series is still selling well, Spitboxers Freestyle Exam is popular amongst the hip hop heads in Cleveland, and finally, the lifespan of an artist is determined whether or not Suave gives his stamp of approval. Suave is a legend in the city, and his stamp on the city is easy to see like FREE on Lakeside.
