With Justice Peace, Aleta coordinates a black mother's movement to cut off the school to the prison pipeline. “Deliberate indifference” ignores government policies that streamline structural racism for institutional profit. This movement provides parent advocacy training and legal support for the single mothers while also giving leadership and rites of passage mentoring for the young black boys that have been involved in suspension, expulsion, juvenile justice and/or prison.
