TOPIC: FEARIS THE TRUE ENEMY How do we develop a true sense of safety when we live in a world where news media make sure sure we have the latest information on accidents and acts of violence occuring around the world? The sense of safety for many has diminished and we have given in to stricter laws of surveilance and frisking. A police state has emerged with cameras everywhere and monitoring of telephone conversations, airport screenings and school door metal detectors. Parents fear letting their children walk around the block alone and many people continue to rely on the government with armed police and tank riding armies to protect us.
